This blog developed as a way to help me keep track of life in our domestic church. I figured if I had to write about what I cooked for dinner or what activity we had planned on a particular saint’s day and/or feast of the Church, then I would have to remember said days, and actually follow through with said plans. So, here’s hoping that our home will reflect our Catholic culture and heritage as well as deepening our spiritual lives.
More personally, I am a native to Sacramento, California, and a graduate of Christian Brothers High School (2002), as well as the University of St Andrews in Scotland (2006, MA Hons). Was formally a middle school teacher of language arts at a local Catholic grade school, but am now a stay-at-home mother of my first born.
A member of St. Stephen, The First Martyr Parish, FSSP, in Sacramento.
Spend various amounts of time divided between America and England, as my wonderful husband is a native of Bristol.
